City of Hope

Arizonans deserve world-class cancer care close to home, and City of Hope® Phoenix is leading the way with our comprehensive cancer hospital in Goodyear, just west of downtown Phoenix, and outpatient locations conveniently located in Gilbert, North Phoenix and Tatum Ridge.

Right here in Arizona, patients experience that power of proximity, through our collaboration with the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), also located in Phoenix, combined with access to City of Hope’s coast-to-coast clinical network, known for leading-edge cancer care, groundbreaking clinical trials and superior survival outcomes. Our National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center in Duarte, California, is a recognized leader in innovative discoveries and novel treatments that continue to revolutionize the fields of cancer research, prevention, detection and care. Now, with a national network that extends to the Phoenix and surrounding communities, City of Hope is able to transport this expertise to more patients in need.

The Arabian Horse Promotional Fund, Inc., EIN# 83-0535751, was established in 2018 to promote the Arabian horse to people beyond its existing community through a variety of different efforts to introduce, educate and attract people to the breed.

Those efforts, all which raise money to continue the promotional fund’s mission, include:

Arabian Horse Promotional Fund

National Arabian Horse Day

The Arabian horse community at large is encouraged to participate in or host an event annually on February 19th, to introduce new people to the benefits of having an Arabian horse in their lives.

Horses for Humanity

The Arabian Horses for Humanity project was created to bring a life size artistic rendition of the world’s oldest breed of horse to communities around the world, in order to highlight the beauty and human/horse bond that is intrinsic to the Arabian horse. Sponsored by various businesses and individuals, they are painted in a myriad of ways, then donated to various pediatric hospitals and charities around the country to raise money for children’s health issues.

This publication is dedicated solely to spreading awareness of the incredible Arabian horse by sharing stories about how Arabian horses give back physically, emotionally and spiritually to those who love them.

The Keystone Arabian Horse Experience

Held in November in conjunction with the AHAF Holiday Festival Show during Thanksgiving, seven exciting performance and halter classes are held to entertain and show the versatility of the Arabian horse, while the Ambassador barn is a hands-on immersive experience to learn what it feels like to be in the presence of an Arabian horse.

Those benefitting from these efforts:

Black Stallion Reading Project

Horses N Heroes of Marion County

Wounded Warrior Project

Project Hope Ocala

Arabian Horse Riding Academy

This grassroots program aims to create new horse-owning families through activities, education and enjoyment. Their youth programs highlight the versatility and kindness of the Arabian horse while allowing children to organically develop as equestrians at their own pace. Additionally, they offer grants and work programs for families to fulfill their dreams of riding an Arabian horse.

Warrior Horses For Warrior Kids

This program was designed for children battling cancer to be connected to a Warrior Horse through pictures, videos and most often, watch them compete at horse shows online. After treatment, many of these children continue their interaction with their Warrior Horse and several have taken up riding lessons at local barns.
